HOW TO PLAY
How to Play the Game
New to pickleball? Follow these simple steps to start a rally, score points, and enjoy your first match.
Respect Two-Bounce Rule
After the serve, each side lets the ball bounce once before volleying. Then open rally play begins.
Avoid Kitchen Volleys
You cannot volley while standing in the non-volley zone (kitchen). Step back before hitting in the air.
Score And Win
Only the serving team can score. Win by reaching 11 points with at least a 2-point lead.
Quick Tips For Beginners
Keep your paddle up, move as a team in doubles, and focus on control before power. Consistent placement wins more points than hard shots.
